25 masters skaters turned out for the Eastern Regional Ability Meet #4 in Clarington, ON on January 8, 2011. The 20 men and 5 women were sufficient to make up 2 of the 14 ability groups in the all-ages short track competition.
Clubs represented by masters included Quinte, Kawartha, Toronto, Gloucester, St Lawrence, Ottawa, Clarington, Durham, Oakville, Barrie and Newmarket.

This level of participation bodes well for the upcoming Ontario Masters Championships scheduled for April 2 - 3, 2011 in Ottawa.
