The 3rd Masters International Canadian Open was run under perfect outdoor weather conditions in Quebec City during January 23 to 24, 2010. The 25 men and 16 women from both Canada and the USA were blessed with sunny skies, little wind and temperatures just below freezing. Canadian skaters came from Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
The short all-round competition included olympic-style 500m, 1000m, 1500m and 3000m events as well as fun unofficial pursuit races of 6 laps for men and 4 laps for women.
Medals were awarded in 5 year age categories for women 20-24 up to 55-59 years and for men 30-34 up to 65-69 years.

Sounds like better weather than Manitoba. I wish I could have been there.
