Master speed skater, Brian Johnston, who is also Director of Edmonton's Silver Skate Festival, wrote to say the Festival is hoping to have the North American Marathon Championships on the 3rd week of February in Edmonton. That would be the 16th and 17th of February 2008 for a 25 and 50km marathon event.
